DIY: Friendship Bracelets

I love making friendship braided bracelets! They are super fun & uber-easy to make. You can choose 4 different colors, two colors or whatever style you want!

To make one of your own you will need:
4 strands of embroidery thread
Each strand is to measure the length of your arm

Gather your strands together evenly & make a knot at the top.
Please note: leave at least 3 inches above the knot!
Separate the strands in the order you want them; shown in first top box.
Take the far right strand & place it in the middle, then the far left strand & drape it over in the middle; shown in second top box. Do the same with the next colors (left to right) & keep repeating these steps until the desired length of bracelet. After you reached the end, make a knot! You should have some length left over after you knot. After you make the knot, you then want to make a sliding knot.

If you are not familiar with making a sliding knot, I provided a video tutorial from Youtube that I find very easy to follow!

Press play below for the demonstration of a sliding knot!

Here is mine all finished with a sliding knot.

Ta-da, all done!! Wasn't that simple?

These are a few others I had made! If you don't want to make a slip not, you can just add a loop on one end & bead/button on the other end!
